“NIBULON’s stability and success are achieved due to protection of property interests and life of employees”, thinks the specialists of NIBULON’s security service. “This department is a key one to ensure safety of the company, its interests (and not only economic ones)”, mentions Volodymyr Okarskyy, a head of the department, “It is extremely important for the company’s management to understand the necessity of development, acceptance and implementation of security policy as an element of NIBULON’s development strategy. The main tasks of our department are to protect material assets, confidential documents and information, to prevent abuse and misuse of inventory holdings. In order to achieve this, we follow the principles, namely reliability, flexibility, efficiency, timeliness and planning. Besides, it is an analysis of the external environment (partners, clients, suppliers, and competitors), work with employees, analysis of potential safety threats, protection of the team’s life and health, protection of resources and property, resistance to industrial espionage”. Sergiy Babanskyy, a specialist of the department, worked in different security agencies, namely the police school, the State Traffic Police, the Drug Enforcement Administration. Since 2009 he has been working for NIBULON, “We are responsible for preservation of inventory holdings of the whole company. Consequently, our motto is to control everything”, mentions Sergiy. Rush season for the security service starts during sowing and harvesting campaign, elevator construction. “It is time to test our professionalism. It is pleasant to realize that due to our work the company is guarded against losses, thefts, conflict situations. In such moments it is pleasant to feel the importance of our work”, says Sergiy Babanskyy. Work of the specialists is connected with frequent business trips. Nevertheless, the team finds time for informal communication. Igor Romadin, a senior guard officer, tells, “Our team is rich in traditions. We bathe on Epiphany annually, attend a sport gym and a swimming pool regularly to be in good shape. The guys train not only muscles, but also we don’t forget about our mental development – books, specialized literature, study of normative legal basis. Our specialists participate in professional seminars and trainings. According to the program “Enterprise guarding and security” there are held hand-to-hand combat trainings, fire brigade games; psychological preparation is performed”. Particular attention should be paid to other activity of the department, namely military record keeping. “In accordance with the current legislation, homeland defence is a constitutional duty of Ukrainian citizens. And the company’s staff is not an exception. The record of persons liable for military service is kept in order to ensure control over execution of military duty and compliance with the military record rules established by the legislation. In case of violation of the military record rules, persons liable for military service are brought to book under the current legislative procedure. For 21 years of the company’s activities there have not been such cases”, tells Oleksandr Sagotyan, a specialist. Stability and successfulness of work, according to the team, is achieved due to a number of obligatory regulations: monitoring of the leading core technologies, professional level of the staff and system efficiency. Practical experience and special training should also be mentioned. The key features of work are professionalism, efficiency, responsibility and implementation of key directions of activity (economic, personnel, and resource security). “Many our specialists gained great experience having worked in different organizations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Professionalism of our specialists is confirmed by Diploma of state organizations”, tells Oleksandr Zdrazhevskyy, a deputy head of the department. Ruslan Omelchenko, a specialist of the department, adds, “Our staff has martial arts and shooting skills. Fortunately, during all these years of work we do not have to use them. We solve every conflict situation verbally without using force. Our families do not worry when we work, because they know that everything will be OK!”
