“Angel of Kindness” Award for NIBULON

An official ceremony to announce the winners of the second regional “Charitable Mykolaiv region – 2019) competition was held on June 23.The national expert council acknowledged NIBULON as the best under the “Regional Charity” category. More than 60 participants took part in the competition. According to the organizers, people whose charitable activity became a model for the Ukrainian charity and philanthropy in 2019 visited the event. The competition was aimed at acknowledging the best sponsors, volunteers and teams of companies which implemented significant charitable projects, as well as at stimulating them to spread efficient charitable activities. The best philanthropist was awarded with a unique “Angel of Kindness” statue (a ceramic angel decorated with rich national ornament and amber). NIBULON won such an award for the second time. Earlier, the company was acknowledged as the best philanthropist of 2017 under the “Charity in Social Sector” category.NIBULON’s Deputy General Director on Trading, Volodymyr Slavinskyy, mentioned that is was very pleasant to receive such an important award which recognized and supported NIBULON’s activities. Implementing socially important projects within Ukraine is a separate activity which has been implementing by NIBULON efficiently and responsibly for almost 29 years. The company is not indifferent to society’s problems and implements a comprehensive and systematic approach to solving them. Thus, NIBULON’s charitable activity is efficient. The company is engaged in implementing charitable initiatives and provides assistance directly to the recipients. Thus, the company controls the process and is confident in achieving the desired results. NIBULON annually directs tens of millions of hryvnas to implement socially important projects. In 2019, the company’s charitable assistance comprised more than UAH 21 million. This money was directed to develop infrastructure in different regions, to ensure proper conditions to get basic and higher education, to improve medial services, to protect the environment, to implement modern energy saving technologies, and others.  Volodymyr Slavinskyy also told the participants about NIBULON’s most current projects connected with COVID-19 pandemic. It turned out that the main medical institution in Mykolaiv region was not ready to fight the pandemic. The hopelessly outdated material and technical basis prevented experienced doctors from fighting COVID-19 successfully. NIBULON turned this medical institution into a modern medical city in 30 days, having conducted a huge amount of work in such a short period of time. The company repaired buildings and road payments, installed ramps, cleaned and illuminated the territory, as well as replaced the equipment to disinfect, wash, dry, iron and to transport contaminated laundry. NIBULON arranged an additional space to separate clean and contaminated areas and re-equipped the food unit. The company purchased new devices and 300 sets of dishes.  It installed more than 500 m of oxygen lines and 81 additional oxygen supply points as well as purchased 21 artificial lung ventilation machines, and other items.Earlier, the company created a modern laboratory to carry out analyses for the presence/absence of coronavirus by using the PCR method on the basis of Mykolaiv Regional Laboratory Center of the Ministry of Healthcare of Ukraine. It is able to conduct up to 400 analyses per day.The company provided medical institutions within Ukraine with protective overalls, respirators and express tests for Covid-19. The company also plans to give two more artificial lung ventilation machines to the Mykolaiv Emergency Hospital and Hola Prystan Central District Hospital (Kherson region).  NIBULON has already allocated UAH 46 million to fight COVID-19. A successful company must work for the benefit of society. Thus, we are not going to stop. We plan to do more for our native country, to develop Ukraine, to improve living standards in every city and village. We want to inspire Ukraine, overcoming all the challenges and achieving the common aim – to have a strong and independent state.
