Agricultural company “NIBULON” has started the construction of a new elevator complex in Artemivka village Poltava region. On the 8th of April the solemn ceremony of the beginning of construction of new inland silo took place. At the moment, three elevator complexes of the company operate in Poltava region – in Romodan, Globyne and Reshetylivka, as well as the construction of transshipment terminal in Gradyz’k town. In the near future there also will be constructed another two terminals – in Maryanivka and in Kremenchuk.    “Poltava is a leader of the agricultural production in Ukraine. And the fact that the last year 4 million tons of the crop were harvested, speaks for itself. I am very pleased that our co-project with “NIBULON” is not just on the level of region, but also has profound significance for the whole Ukraine. We are proud of this project. For the first time during 18 years of Ukrainian independence private river fleet is constructed. The fact that “NIBULON” is the company that constructs it means the work for our metallurgists, for our manufacturers and it is the revival of navigation of Dnipro River – the main water way of Ukraine. Understanding, which we have achieved with “NIBULON”, allows us to implement the project as soon as possible”, – said Deputy Head of Poltava Regional Administration Andriy Baranov.   General Director of “NIBULON”, Hero of Ukraine Oleksiy Vadaturskyy noted that Ukrainian farmers will be able to feel the economic effect of an investment project of the company at the cost of about 200 million USD in the near future. Agricultural producers will be able to sell grain without the cost of delivery, which reduces income by 50 UAH per ton of grain.    “Multiply 4,5 million by 50 UAH. This will be the economic effect – 225 million UAH, which farmers of Poltava will receive additionally. However, the main effect – it is confidence in the future, because the farmers will know that you can work with a profit and be successful”, – said O. Vadaturskyy.   He also stressed that it is due to Poltava region, Ukraine and “NIBULON”, in particular, opened the most receptive corn market in terms of import volume in the world, a key player of which is Egypt. “NIBULON” is one of the major suppliers in this market. The company plans to pursue pledge purchases of grain from farmers this year. As O. Vadaturskyy explains, in such a way talks about manipulation around grain prices will be terminated. He added that company’s work in the region has helped to ensure Poltava region the maximum ever price for corn – 1400 UAH per ton.   “There will be a sharp demonopolization of the market, and farmers here will be able to feel the real benefits of their leadership. They will raise the entire infrastructure of the region. Our company is the leader in the export of grain. The share of supply of maize in Egypt is 57%. Other companies add up to 43%. Now, our company will work without any intermediaries. Every farmer who grows corn, will know the price on the Chicago Stock Exchange, the behavior of the price in the world market, and we will pursue pledge purchases. Farmer will decide himself when to sell the corn to our enterprise, after receiving an advance payment”, – General Director of “NIBULON” shared his plans.   Construction of elevator complex in Artemivka is scheduled for completion by the end of June – all construction facilities of “NIBULON” have such a pace of construction.  More than 60 people will work at Artemivka branch. Representatives of 150 construction companies, almost from all the regions of Ukraine, total amount of about 4 thousand people are involved in the construction of 4 new elevators. By the 1st of July, the company plans to complete implementation of the investment project, started in April 2009. It is planned to start the work of 8 new elevator complexes, 4 of which are river terminals. Total volume of the elevator capacity of the 1st turn will comprise 600 thousand tons. The company’s plans for 2011 are to bring the capacity of elevators of “NIBULON” up to 2 million tons.   Investment program of “NIBULON” is successfully implemented in the conditions of crisis. It stipulates the construction of 8 elevators and transshipment terminals in Poltava, Cherkasy, Zaporizhzhya and Dnipropetrovs’k regions. The fleet of the company that will be created, will consist of the 50 self-propelled and non-selfpropelled vessels (including 14 tugs) with deadweight of more than 150 thousand tons at the first stage. The vessels will fly Ukrainian flag, they are made of domestic metal on the Ukrainian shipbuilding enterprises. Due to the implementation of the project work for more than 10 thousand people 150 construction companies and shipbuilding yard “Wadan Yards Okean” will be provided at these sites. For the first time in the history of independent Ukraine, Ukrainian agricultural company deals with the implementation of such a project.
