About Ratings Provided by the Ministry of Infrastructure

NIBULON has been investing billions of hryvnias in the development of inland water transport for more than 10 years. As part of this project, the company has built its modern cargo fleet at the Ukrainian shipyard as well as high-tech transshipment terminals. Having set a goal to redirect its cargo flows from road to river, the company completely changed Ukraine’s transport logistics. NIBULON’s shipping company has transported 18.5 million tons by rivers during these years. The company has removed more than 770 thousand trucks from Ukrainian highways due to its far-sightedness and patriotic position. The structure of the company’s cargo flows has also been changed. NIBULON transports 60% of cargoes by river, 30% by railway, and only 10% (!) by highways. The company has done everything to redirect 90% of cargoes from road to river and railway. This is our real method to solve traffic problems on the Ukrainian highways. Let us recollect what the Ministry of Infrastructure has done during this time. As far as we know, its busy activity usually started at the beginning of July and completed at the end of August. The officials wrote many malicious posts on Facebook, made movies about roads, blamed everyone including our company, held various meetings, arrived to Mykolaiv and criticized toilets at the railway station.  This is the way some officials improve their own image without any benefits to the state. This year’s struggle has started with empty statements and finished with a daily rating of the so-called violators of weight-size norms. Every day the Minister of Infrastructure, V.Krykliy, reports on the main violators. Yes, it is true. Don’t you know that ratings will help to reduce the number of trucks on the roads? It is strange… Everything is so simple…There is no need to build fleet, terminals… On July 7, NIBULON entered the rating of the main violators, provided by the Ministry of Infrastructure. It looks like the officials either lie to everyone or try to discredit our company.  Firstly, please note that it concerns a harvester transported by Scania truck and not grain. Considering that a harvester is an oversized and indivisible cargo, it is impossible to transport parts separately.Secondly, the website spread false information, specifying that “NIBULON’s SKANIA truck has a single axle overload of 11.940 tons and a tandem axle overload of 17.7 tons.” The single axle weight is 11.64 tons and the tandem axle weight is16.94 tons in the weight ticket. What do you think of this game of figures? It was added 300 kg on one axle and 760 kg on the other one. It is skillfully, isn’t it?In compliance with the vehicle registration certificate, the total weight of a harvester is 34.871 tons. At the same time the total weight in the weight ticket comprises 36 tons. Is it again a game of figures? They again added 1.2 tons. Probably, they made a mistake and provided information about another truck. During the inspection, the company’s driver provided a transportation permit which contains information about route and dimensions (the difference between the specified and the actual weight does not exceed the permissible 2% in accordance with the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No.879 of June 27, 2007). The company has officially paid all the required payments. Thus, NIBULON did not violate any rules and laws. NIBULON has many questions for the Ministry of Infrastructure and the State Service of Ukraine for Transport Safety. We will obviously find out everything. The company is now preparing an appeal to the State Service of Ukraine for Transport Safety as well as to a court. Dear Prime Minister, before criticizing NIBULON, recollect your visit to the company’s new river terminal, the way you appreciated the company’s activities, and road conditions in the region. Unfortunately, the company cannot transport harvesters by river.  Mr. V.Krykliy, do you know those who can do it? At present, a lot of agricultural machinery is transported by roads from one region to another.  It is necessary to harvest a yield grown in these complicated conditions. One more thing, ask your subordinates to analyze information more precisely. Avoid these shameful mistakes that prevent doing business. You should use your potential to do really useful things.

Андрій Вадатурський став генеральним директором «НІБУЛОНу» після понад 15 років роботи в компанії — в липні 2022 року.

Він прийняв цю посаду після трагічної загибелі свого батька та засновника «НІБУЛОНу» Олексія Вадатурського разом із матір’ю Раїсою Вадатурською під час російського ракетного удару по їхньому дому в Миколаєві.

З 2014 до 2019 рік був народним депутатом України від одномандатного округу в Миколаївській області та членом Комітету з питань аграрної політики. У 2017 році створив і очолив велику міжпартійну групу, яка виступала за розвиток українських річок як транспортного засобу.  

Має ступінь магістра електротехніки Українського державного морського технічного університету та ступінь магістра економіки промисловості Лондонської школи економіки. У 2009 році за вагомий внесок у розвиток агропромислового комплексу України був нагороджений Президентом України, йому присвоєно звання «Заслужений працівник сільського господарства».

Одружений, має трьох дітей.
