The Director General of “NIBULON” Oleksiy Vadaturskyy has again taken up dominant positions in the prestigious rating of managers. Can a success of not only an individual company, but also of a huge industry, or even a number of sectors of the economy depend on the professionalism of one man? It turns out, that it can. On the eve of the New Year 2012 the results of one of the most authoritative rating projects “GVardiya”: Rating of the most successful managers. Ukraine” were declared. The Director General of “NIBULON”, Hero of Ukraine Oleksiy Vadaturskyy has become the winner in the industry rating among the managers of agricultural companies the third consecutive year. In general, intersectorial (i.e., taking into account all branches of the country’s economy, industry, metallurgy, etc.), rating of managers of Ukraine, he has taken the second place, only 0.52 points separate him from the leader of the list (O. Vadaturskyy got 95.48 points out of a possible 100). It should be noted that among a few Mykolayiv companies included in the rating (LLC “Sandora” – 19th place, SE “Zorya-Mashproject” – 115th place, PJSC “Lactalis-Mykolayiv ” – 227th place, OJSC “Mykolayivoblenergo” – 284th place), “NIBULON” also takes a leading position. Such a high level of recognition is the result of the survey of almost 500 managers of Ukrainian companies representing 29 branches of the national economy. However, only a third of the assessment was given by independent experts – the rest of the questionnaires was filled out directly by market participants, they are competitors of top-managers winners. After all, it is they who are most able to objectively evaluate all components of the reputation of a manager: cost effectiveness of a company’s management, competition, relationships with partners, the level of its corporate social responsibility and business reputation of a business leader. Experts admit that leadership positions of Oleksiy Vadaturskyy personally and its offspring “NIBULON” are an evidence of a stable and systematic work of the company and its management, its high reputation not only in its industry, but also among the most successful entrepreneurs of the whole country. Thanks to the importance of the patriotic tasks performed by the company: the construction of modern infrastructure for the grain market of Ukraine, the construction and efficient operation of the first in the country private river fleet and the successful implementation of the project to restore the navigable capacities of the Dnipro and the Southern Bug Rivers. During 20 years of work experience in the Ukrainian market, the company has invested there over UAH 8.5 billion of capital investment, UAH 2.7 billion of which were directed to the development of agricultural production. Additional income of domestic agricultural producers after implementing these projects will compile at least UAH 4 billion a year at experts’ estimates. High positions in “Gvardiya of managers” rating mean also a confirmation of the international prestige of the company, which is the only agricultural producer in the industry, that takes part in the UN`s World Food Program. Export geography of the company that in 2010/2011 marketing year supplied abroad 2.7 million tons of grain (every fifth exported by the country ton), numbers 60 countries – from the U.S. to Japan. The leading international financial institutions – the World Bank and the EBRD as well as the governments of Denmark, Sweden, the Netherlands and a number of the first-class Western banks more than once appreciated and supported with credit funds an investment project on the construction of a network of elevator complexes and transshipment terminals, as well as the revival of navigation. Thus, the success of “NIBULON” is not only the achievements in the agricultural sector, a positive impact on infrastructure and logistics system in the country as a whole, but also an advantage of the international image of Ukraine as an investment-attractive state and reliable partner for foreign companies and governments. Oleksiy Vadaturskyy himself adds proudly: merits and achievements of the company – it is primarily the result of nearly five thousand workers of the young team. The company spares no expense investing in its formation at the stage of kindergartens and schools that “NIBULON” necessarily takes under patronage there, where it invests. “It is important for me that people both work and live comfortably. Social infrastructure, on which we annually spend more than UAH 10 million, for our company is a great start for the future,” Mr. Vadaturskyy said. Another victory of the well-known top-manager of Mykolayiv is not an eventuality. It is not the first time when “GVardiya of managers” fixes the leadership positions of the management of the leading agricultural enterprise of the country. In 2010, Oleksiy Vadaturskyy ranked first not only in overall rating of agroindustrial leaders, but among all (!) Ukrainian leaders of all branches of the economy. At that time, according to survey, 456 of the most successful top managers of domestic enterprises and experts working in 36 branches of the economy, the head of the famous Mykolayiv company scored 97.33 points out of a possible 100, thus overtaking the closest pursuer by more than 6 points. In 2009, for the first time when the name of Mr. Vadaturskyy appeared in “GVardiya of managers” rating, he immediately headed the list of the most successful top managers of the agricultural sector. It is not an easy task to take up leading positions in the intersectorial rating constantly. After all, the names in “top five” are constantly changing, but O.Vadaturskyy is one of a few managers who deservedly holds the first place. It is noteworthy that O. Vadaturskyy sets high and ambitious goals and always achieves them. In addition, his tasks are always of a deep state and patriotic content. This means that Oleksiy Vadaturskyy as the head of the company does not expect improvement of the investment climate, financial or administrative support, as it is often common for business operating in Ukraine … Vadaturskyy is himself a provider of all the changes for the better, for the arrangement of the grain market infrastructure, he and his team construct a fleet, elevators, transshipment terminals, creating thousands of work places, develop villages and towns, schools and hospitals. He with his shining example shows how to conduct successful and socially-oriented business for the benefit of the whole Ukraine. Only real leaders act like this, they have such a vocation for life.
