“NIBULON” is a leader of the Ukrainian agrarian market, has opened new modern transshipment terminal for grains and oilseeds in Gradyz’k village (Poltava region) on the riverside of the Dnipro River on Friday. This is the third transshipment terminal, constructed by “NIBULON” within the frames of its large-scale investment project for the revival of navigation along Ukrainian rivers. The opening ceremony was attended by executives of agrarian sector of the country – Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Viktor Slauta agricultural issues and the head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Agrarian Policy and Land Relations Grygoriy Kaletnik, head of Poltava Regional State Administration Oleksandr Udovychenko and chairman of Poltava regional council Volodymyr Marchenko, General Director of Cimbria Unigrain  A/S Henning Bukh, deputy head of state administration of sea and river transport Viktor Sudarev and other foreign guests. At the opening the leaders of the agrarian social organizations – President of Ukrainian Grain Association Volodymyr Klimenko and General Director of Ukrainian Agrarian Confederation Sergiy Stoyanov, including member of a board of directors of Ukreximbank Petro Mikheyev and other topical officials, as well as thousands of rural people were present. Having familiarized himself with the terminal, V. Slauta noted in particular: “Everything that does “NIBULON” is unique in itself. The main thing is that water will work to increase crop yields and to increase grain prices for farmers. Therefore, the Government will always give a real hand to such a business and such investments”. “It is called the capitalization of production, it is forever for Ukraine, for generations, for the country, we will support such business projects. That is why, I wish the new facility happy trails!”, – said Vice Prime Minister. In turn, G. Kaletnik stressed: “This is a great event when people have a real prospect of work, wages, and that is very important in current conditions. This is family budgets, children, it is an opportunity to teach and educate future patriots and builders of independent Ukraine”. People`s deputy had a say about the investment project of “NIBULON”: “This is a great thing for our economy. Due to such a company and the quality of its activity, Ukraine has to work on international standards and enter foreign markets with its own products, getting a high price! And the fact that “NIBULON” decides the issue of the most profitable market outlets, it is a very, very big deal!” A. Udovychenko congratulated “NIBULON’s” team with another victory of the revival of navigation along the Dnipro River, noting that the new terminal in Gradyz’k is one more step for Ukraine’s transition to an innovative way of development which will enable the country to range with the economically advanced nations.  “The new terminal is a decoration of our region. It is additional work places. And our local governments will do everything to avoid problems in the formalizing the project documents for the further implementation of investment projects of “NIBULON” in the region”, – added the head of the Poltava Regional State Administration. In this regard, representatives of “NIBULON” and regional authorities stressed that implementing this investment project, “NIBULON’s” team and regional authorities in order to fulfill assignment of the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovich on activation of attracting investments, the head of state told that in Zaporizhzhya at the enlarged meeting of Regional Committee of economic reforms on the 22nd of June. In general, “NIBULON” will construct 8 elevator complexes in Poltava region, the amount of investment will compile almost UAH 700 million. In his turn, V. Sudarev noted that the Ministry of Transport and Communications supports “NIBULON” in the revival of navigation along the Dnipro River and other rivers of Ukraine. “Revival of navigation along inland waterways – the Dnipro River, the Southern Bug, the Dunay is the prerogative task, environmental issues, traffic interchanges are solved, railroad is unloaded … This is the most important task, and the Maritime Administration participates in the revival of navigation on the inland waterways of Ukraine”, – he stressed. The Hero of Ukraine, General Director of “NIBULON” Oleksiy Vadaturskyy emphasized: “By implementing of our investment project, we think of the agrarians and agricultural producers. So the arrival of our company in Poltava region, first of all, brings them closer to world markets, removes mediation schemes and increases farmers’ income from cultivated agricultural products. Oleksiy Vadaturskyy thanked the locals for their support in the construction of the terminal, and reported that the construction of all facilities within the investment project involved nearly 150 companies from all over Ukraine. Together we show a master-class, how to construct, with quality and the enthusiasm”- he stressed. General Director of “NIBULON” also noted that his company will do its best to support the local community in solving its life problems. “We will take the initiative, we will help, respond, find out what do you need first of all, in order not to be ashamed that we constructed in your beautiful region”, – he said.  Within the framework of social work in Gradyz’k “NIBULON” has allocated a significant amount of money for the development of the village. The company bought an ambulance for the local hospital, computers and office equipment for the school, it has repaired and equipped a few streets with bus stops, it has conducted the lighting of the village, renovated cultural centre, has reconstructed the monument to the dead servicemen of the Great Patriotic War and grave sites. In autumn the company plans to create a new central park with 800 trees. O. Vadaturskyy announced that at the meeting of Regional Committee for the economic reforms in Zaporizhzhya he invited the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych to take part in the ceremony of launching of newly-constructed vessels within the frames of the investment project which will be held in the near future in Mykolayiv at the shipbuilding yard“Wadan Yards Okean”. Investment project of “NIBULON” on the revival of navigation along rivers of Ukraine as transport water ways, at a cost of USD 470 million, involves the construction of 57 non-self-propelled and self- propelled vessels, including 14 sea and river tugs, 17 elevators, 10 of them are transshipment terminals along the Dnipro River, the Southern Bug and other rivers. At the present time 24 non-self-propelled vessels and three tugs, two elevator complexes (Poltava region) and two transshipment terminals (Cherkasy and Zaporizhzhya regions) are constructed and successfully put into operation, terminal in Gradyz’k is the third one. Just before this solemn event the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development along with other Ukrainian and foreign financial institutions supported the investment project of “NIBULON”, and signed an agreement on providing the company with a loan of USD 50 million on the 17th of June. According to the experts, it is an unprecedented case of a loan during the financial crisis.
