Kremenchutska branch is the company’s 7th facility in Poltava region, which started its operations in 2010. In 2018, NIBULON increased its capacity, having built three additional silos and a truck tipper connected to the existing technological facility. Currently, the transshipment terminal is a fully automated facility with a simultaneous storage capacity of 96.2 thousand tons of grain as well as the river transport shipments of 7,500 tons per day, rail transport shipments of 7,000 tons per day, and drying volumes of 3,000 tons per day. Since Kremenchutska branch commenced operating, its specialists have signed 1,302 agreements for agricultural commodity deliveries with suppliers mostly from Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad, and Kharkiv regions. The transshipment terminal received more than 1,048,105 tons of corn, 303,293 tons of wheat, 30,232 tons of soybean, about 53,911 tons of rapeseed, 56,241 tons of barley, 17,851 tons of sorghum. Sunflower seeds and rye comprise the rest of the total commodities received. The facility receives about 168 thousand tons per year. “One of the main factors in the successful operation of Kremenchutska branch is its proximity to highways and its capability to serve road, rail, and water transport. This enables the terminal to operate during the year regardless of navigation along the Dnipro River. Due to the additional silos, the facility can constantly operate during harvesting and also concentrate grain batches for further shipment by vessels and transportation for export”, states Oleksandr Babych, the Kremenchutska branch director. The Kremenchutska transshipment terminal is a facility oriented towards water transportation. Consequently, the facility has shipped about 73% of agricultural commodities for export (about 1,054,774 tons of grain, 538 vessels) during almost 10 years of operation. The transshipment terminal has shipped 23% of commodities by railway (about 328,123 tons of grain), thereby minimizing road transportation. It should be mentioned that the local agrarians benefit from NIBULON’s activities in Poltava region. They get a competitive price for agricultural commodities, efficient and high-quality service as well as an opportunity to save money on transporting grain, which can be directed to develop their own companies and others. This makes NIBULON popular with farmers. Reshetylivska and Skorokhodivska branches (Poltava region) will soon receive 1.49 million tons each. Voznesenska branch (Mykolaiv region) will also achieve its record result. As of today, it has received 1.46 million tons of grain. We would remind you that the Kozatska branch transshipment terminal was the first branch to receive 2 million tons of agricultural commodities.
