Vita Marchenko sweetens the lives of her colleagues in every sense. Vita is an HR representative of the Zolotoniska branch. According to her colleagues, her responsibilities are much wider than hiring and firing, processing vacations and sick days. Vita is a person who listens to all problems, advises, consults and always helps. For almost 13 years, she has been a moral support and support for more than 100 employees of the branch.
In addition to her main job, Vita has a hobby that has managed to grow into a “second” profession: for more than 4 years, she has been making various goodies for ordering – cakes, cupcakes, and trifles. Vita regularly treats her colleagues at work with her masterpieces, giving joy and a sense of celebration.
“I have loved working with dough since I was a child. I used to bake various sweets for family and friends. When I was on maternity leave and had some free time, I delved into this topic, started watching video tutorials for confectioners, looked for new interesting recipes on the Internet, baked and treated my friends, collected reviews and, based on them, adjusted the recipe. Gradually, I began to receive orders: someone wanted something unusual, not store-bought, for a birthday, someone ordered sweets for children in kindergarten.
The first cakes I made were with mastic. It was handmade, sculpting. With time, I began to try other techniques, learned to make mousse cakes. It is now one of my favorite desserts, both in taste and texture, and in the process itself. You never know exactly what you’re going to get, and when the cake turns out the way I imagined it, it’s a double pleasure!” – says Vita with delight.
Behind the scenes of such “sweet” and “gentle” work – a lot of physical and moral efforts:”For me, baking is a kind of rest, my escape. But at the same time, this is a very important job that I cannot neglect. When I take an order, I understand that it imposes a certain responsibility on me. I’m being counted on, and I can’t let a person down and spoil the holiday. Everyone has failures, I am no exception. Sometimes something goes wrong. In such cases, you just pull yourself together and redo the dessert one more time. But when I see joy and delight in people’s eyes, I understand that all the nights of hard work were worth it.”
Like every professional, Vita does not stand still, constantly learns new things, follows trends in the confectionery industry. In the near future, she plans to learn how to make chocolate spheres, which have a very impressive appearance and will decorate any dessert. We don’t know about you, but we are already thinking of an excuse to go on a business trip to the Zolotoniska branch to try our master -chef’s masterpieces for ourselves.
