NIBULON always works transparently and openly. That is why the company supports the construction of civilized lobbying, the dissemination of international experience and best practices in this area, as well as civilized dialogue between the government, business, and society. Thanks to the company's GR function, we are able to fully implement the mechanisms of civilized lobbying and open dialogue. Thus, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the company managed to carry out large-scale work in projects under the leadership of Mykhailo Rizak. Each implemented case was an important step for the further development of the company in the conditions of war and ensuring the global mission to overcome hunger. In particular, in order to revive the country's economy and support ways of grain export solidarity, NIBULON initiated the issue of introducing amendments to the Law of Ukraine “On Inland Water Transport”. The proposed changes concerned the simplification of the bureaucratic procedure for the allocation of land for the construction of river ports. Thanks to the approved changes, NIBULON managed to start the construction of the Bessarabska branch twice as fast. So, today the branch has exported more than 1,6 million tons of grain, demonstrates a tendency of gradual growth of export indicators and is a reliable alternative to the “grain corridor”.An urgent issue in the work of the company's new branch was the assessment of the cross-border impact on the environment according to the procedure of the relevant state – Romania, which NIBULON successfully completed in a fairly short period of time. This, in turn, indicates the provision of ecologically justified and sustainable development of the company during the implementation of economic activity. Thus, if it is impossible to carry out shipping on the Dniper and Southern Buh rivers, the company can use the potential of the Danube to transport goods and connect Ukrainian farmers with international markets. The NIBULON team also made efforts to restore the competitiveness of blocked river elevators. As a result of the actions of the aggressor state, part of the company's grain storages are blocked, some are under temporary occupation, and some of the complexes are completely destroyed. In turn, the blockade of the river grain storages creates an additional shoulder of grain delivery to the nearest railway station, which makes them unprofitable. Thanks to the grant received from the USAID Project for 50 wagons to compensate for the cost of additional logistics, NIBULON managed not only to save the jobs created in the river infrastructure, but also to improve purchase prices for farmers.Land demining is not the most priority and urgent task. Having received the first non-technical survey certificate in April of this year, we have already managed to return almost 4000 hа of arable land to the economy. Having developed a justification for the need to finance machine demining in Ukraine, NIBULON signed a grant contract from DEG Impulse gGmbH for €4,8 million for the purchase of demining machines. And today NIBULON deminers have in their arsenal the first powerful demining machine and are waiting for 3 more such machines.Difficult times require the coordinated work of a team and encourage the search for non-standard solutions. The experience of NIBULON is an example of alternatives and solutions in conditions of full-scale war, which are comprehensively aimed at preventing the global food crisis.
