“NIBULON” is a contemporary of independent Ukraine. Both our country and “NIBULON” celebrate their 20th anniversary this year. On the eve of the groundbreaking and important for every genuine Ukrainian holiday “NIBULON” wants to confirm in fact, not in word its sincere love and devotion to the motherland. This year has become an anniversary for independence of Ukraine and rich in significant and important events for us. Thus every achievements of our company in 2011 anniversary year we dedicate to a free independent Ukraine! 1. General Director of “NIBULON”, Hero of Ukraine Oleksiy Vadaturskyy according to the rate “GVardiya of the managers – 2010” that was compiled by the experts, was acknowledged the most successful manager of Ukraine in 2010. Oleksiy Vadaturskyy gained a confident victory among 456 most successful managers of 36 branches of Ukrainian economy.  2. Mykolayiv planner private enterprise “Torola Design Group” has created projects of a unique tug POSS120 and new non-self-propelled vessel NBL-91 by the technical task of “NIBULON”. Tugs of the type are constructed in Ukraine for the first time. Despite the compact size, power vessel is 1000 hp, these options allow us to use tug in harbor waters, in the reservoirs, during passage of the locks, transportation of commissions to raids, independent non-self-propelled vessels voyage up to 4 thousand tons of guaranteed speed of 4 knots. Today there is practically no auxiliary fleet along the main water way – the Dnipro River. Thus, these tugs will work on reservoirs and terminals of “NIBULON”. 3. In March 2011 the construction of elevator of “Novoodes’ka” branch is completed. The construction of the most modern transshipment terminal in Nova Odesa town of Mykolayiv region marked the beginning of the revival of navigation along the Southern Bug River! The facility is notable for the new revolutionary technological solution, provided with the latest equipment. A special feature of a sandy coastal area of the Southern Bug River did not become an obstacle in construction of a new terminal. The new facility was built on 2630 piles! according to a unique technology with lifting of the area by 2,5 m! 4. On the 24th of April 2011 a solemn ceremony of rewarding the winners of the IV National Maritime Rate of Ukraine based on the results of year 2010 was held in Odesa. “NIBULON” was the sole winner of nomination “Golden berth”. A successful investment project on construction of transshipment terminals along the Dnipro River (“Kamyanka-Dniprovs’ka” branch of Zaporizhzhya region, “Gradyzk” and “Kremenchuk” of Poltava region) provided one-man leadership of the company. Another remarkable result: our company took the first place in the “Revitalization of the fleet 2010” marked the construction of a series of non-self-propelled vessels at Mykolayiv shipbuilding yard “Okean” by “NIBULON”. General Director of “NIBULON” Oleksiy Vadaturskyy is among five winners in the nomination “Man of the Year 2010 on water transport of Ukraine”. 5.  “NIBULON” took the 192nd place according to the ranking of Deloitte of the largest companies in Central and Eastern Europe, thus overtaking the rest of the agricultural enterprises of Ukraine. Our country is represented in the TOP-500 ranking of the largest companies in Central and Eastern Europe, by 39 companies only. It should be noted that it is not the first time when “NIBULON” enters into the TOP-500 of Deloitte ranking. 6. “NIBULON” became the best among agricultural companies and the fifth in the commodity production sector according to the ranking of corporate social responsibility (CSR) of Ukrainian rate magazine “GVardiya”. In the overall ranking of CSR “NIBULON” holds the 13th place among all Ukrainian companies. “NIBULON” entered the first 12 companies with best practices in relation to product and consumer and in relation toecology. 7. “NIBULON” became a member of American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine. Participation in such major international organization indicates a high status of our company both in Ukraine and on the world stage, and is the result of inheritance of the ideas of free competition and civilized cooperation of government and business by our company. After all, the principles of honesty and morality in business that are adhered by the Chamber, “NIBULON” has been implicitly supporting during 20 years of its activity in Ukraine.For our company the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine is a reputable and reliable partner, adherent in achieving high purposes of establishing international standards of business conducting and spreading of the practice of CSR in our country. 8. On the 31st of May, 2011 the first tug of six tugs of POSS-115 project, “NIBULON-1” was launched at Mykolayiv shipbuilding yard “Okean”. This event is of great importance to the economy of our country! Today, Ukraine has 56 tugs of such power, i.e. every sixth tug in Ukraine is of “NIBULON’s” level. Despite the difficult situation of the Ukrainian fleet, “NIBULON” proves: prospects for development of navigation in our country are rather optimistic! 9. On the 16th of June management of PJSC “Credit Agricole Bank” visited “NIBULON’s” branches. “NIBULON” has been cooperating with “Credit agricole group” since 2008, the banking institution has given a credit to “NIBULON” in the amount of USD 20 million. Management of PJSC “Credit Agricole Bank” visited the transshipment terminal of “NIBULON” in Mykolayiv and “Snigurivs’ka” branch in order to have a comprehensive review of “NIBULON’s” work. The guests were impressed both by unique elevator complex with the most modern laboratory and the level of agrotechnics and agriculture in the fields of the branch. 10. The General Director of “NIBULON”, Hero of Ukraine Oleksiy Vadaturskyy came in a good fourth in the national rating “The best top managers of Ukraine. Tactics and Strategy” that was published in the “Rating TOP-100 ” magazine. Oleksiy Vadaturskyy took a second place in the industry-specific rating “Top-5. Agribusiness” that is also published in “Rating TOP-100”. Rating “The best top managers of Ukraine. Tactics and Strategy” is held by “Rating TOP-100” magazine for the first time this year. Rating was formed by the group of independent experts, participants of the rating were estimated by the following criteria: “achievements and performance”, “leadership skills”, “strategic and professional competence”. 11. “NIBULON” is the largest exporter of grain crops from Ukraine in 2010/2011 MY.“NIBULON” heads the list for the third consecutive season, in view of the introduction of quotas for grain export in this marketing year, the result of the company has declined almost two-fold in proportion to the overall decline of grain export from Ukraine, reaching 2.7 million tons mark vs. agricultural production of nearly 4.8 million tons in 2009/2010 MY. 12. On the 26th of July the Director of the World Bank in Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova Martin Raiser visited branches of “NIBULON” in Mykolayiv region. According to Mr. Raiser, visiting of the company with such a unique infrastructure as “NIBULON” gave him an opportunity to familiarize himself with a mechanism for exporting of agricultural products and the movement of grain from the fields to the port: The things I have seen today are an example of the fact that agriculture sector has the future. This is important for Ukraine, so I hope that others will take into account your example. It is very pleasant for me personally, if the World Bank can provide you with a little help.” 13. On the 29th of July, 2011 the second investment forum of Kyiv region “Stability and growth” was held in Vyshgorod town (Kyiv region). The presentation of investment attractiveness and economic potential of the region has become the purpose of the event. Within the frames of the exhibition a memorandum “On partnership and cooperation” was signed between “NIBULON” and Kyiv Regional State Administration that has become a start and a guarantee of successful cooperation of the company and regional authorities. 14. At the same time with the forum Grand Prix of World Cup in “Formula 1” on the water class was held in Vyshgorod from the 29th till the 31st of July. “NIBULON” was general partner and sponsor of the event. “NIBULON” was the general partner and sponsor of the event. “Our sincere support for this sports event is the result of a good partnership with local authorities. Being the general partner and sponsor of this major event, we also affirm its status of the company, known far beyond Ukraine. We are pleased to take part in the organization of the sports event, helping Ukraine to host international competition of this level for the first time, and people to get a lot of emotions and fun from the sports festival”, Oleksiy Vadaturskyy said. 15. The company extends its presence in Zhytomyr region – a new “Teteriv” branch is created and the construction of elevator complex in Velyki Korovyntsi village (Chudniv district) is started. Modern branch of “NIBULON” won’t become the first one in the region. Three production units – “Romanivs’ka” (Romaniv village), “Bystrits’ka” (Bystryk village) and “Chudnivs’ka” (Chudniv village) branches have been successfully operating in Zhytomyr region for a long time. The elevator will be the most modern technological facility in the region. Putting it into operation, proximity to the farmers will help them to reduce the cost of the logistical component and increase the profitability of domestic production. 16. Another branch joins our friendly “NIBULON’s” family. The first branch of “NIBULON” appears in the Kiev region. The construction of modern “NIBULON’s” elevator in Denyhivka village (Tetiyiv district) is started. 17. On the 8th of August 2011, the second “NIBULON’s” tug of a series of the tugs, “NIBULON-2”, is floated out of the dry dock of Mykolayiv shipbuilding yard “Okean”. Thus works on completion of construction of this tug will be continued from now, including installation of electronic equipment, machinery, lifting deck house etc. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov participated in a solemn ceremony of keel-laying of this particular tug on the 19th of October 2010, he supported a large-scale investment project of the leader of agricultural market of Ukraine “NIBULON” on the revival of navigation along the Dnipro and other rivers of Ukraine. 18. On the 9th of August 2011, the last stage of sea trials of «NIBULON-1» tug was carried out. Maneuvers of the vessel were held to check the main engines under real operating conditions and check anchor complex at a depth of 20 m. The tug fulfilled all necessary maneuvers that are provided by regulatory framework for the transportation of non-self-propelled vessels. Bringing of “NIBULON-1” vessel to poop and foremost anchors has been worked out there. 19.The company successfully completed the harvest despite various weather conditions. Record grain was threshed, that is more than 108 thousand tons! “Chygyryn” branch and “Lidiyivs’ke” branch harvested the largest quantity of grain, 11.95 thousand tons and 10.63 thousand tons correspondingly. The best results of wheat yieldare on farms of Vinnytsya region – “Pivdennyy Bug” branch (54.3 dt / ha) and “Khmilnyk” (50.2 dt / ha). The average wheat yield in the company is 40 dt / ha. In addition it should be noted that the company plans to increase the area of ​​winter crops seeding by 12% to bring it up to 32 thousand hectares this season. 20. “NIBULON” is a conscientious taxpayer! This year UAH 97 million of different taxes and fees are paid to the budgets of different levels! In this difficult for the company year, it, as always, actively participates in solving social issues of the community in different regions of Ukraine. The company provides assistance to educational and health facilities, care of the environment, support of cultural activities, infrastructure development in towns and villages all over Ukraine. Currently, “NIBULON” is traditionally getting ready to welcome Ukrainian students with the 1st of September. It is already a heart-warming tradition to present nice gifts to pupils of three affiliated schools in the city of Mykolayiv (№ 57, 51, 24). This year, pupils will receive multimedia classrooms equipped with new furniture and modern interactive equipment. For the second consecutive year, Mykolayiv boarding school № 6 will receive presents from “NIBULON”. Traditionally, all first-graders of Mykolayiv city and Mykolayiv region receive an informative book “My favorite city Mykolayiv” as a free gift from “NIBULON”. “NIBULON” wants our Ukrainian children to develop at the level of the students of developed European countries. We believe: the best learning environment for our children is the main key to high economic growth of our country in future. These 20 achievements of our company in 2011, we dedicate to the 20th anniversary of independence of Ukraine! Someone will wonder whether we have the right to equate these achievements to those that contribute to the prosperity of the state and maintain a positive image of Ukraine in the international arena? In response, we rightly note: our company has spent over six months in order to achieve these great results, this period of time was full of obstacles and fight. It is a true courage and professionalism of our team, is not it? A lot has already been done by us for 20 years of our activity! We follow the basic norms of public morality and law, patriotism while conducting our activities, working in the name of the motherland. This is our standard of work that we would like to pass to others.
